“Taking pictures like a Japanese!”
During dental school I got accepted into the Japanese Dental Exchange program. I hosted two groups of Japanese students here in San Antonio and this spring break, they hosted us in Japan.

Washington New Year
This Christmas Jason was in Washington and Rachel spent it with her family in San Antonio, but the week before the New Year Rachel came out to visit Washington. This was her first time seeing my family in WA. Everybody loved her… and by everybody I really mean Lexi really loved her. As you can see she would never would leave Rachel alone.
Rachel has done photography for a long time, so she took Mom’s camera out to take some cool pics of the snow and frozen frost.
We also got to make a snow man… it turned out like Calvin and Hobbes snowmen. Rachel wanted to be godzilla and crush the poor defenseless thing.

Hmm… so how does this “computo box” work again?
So I’ve never done a blog before. But I figured along with growing up, getting a job, getting married, and getting OLD comes getting a blog. So know I have officially entered the ranks of the grown-ups.
These are a few pics Rachel and I took in Helotes one Sunday after Church. This has been a great year for wildflowers. The bluebonnets came fist, then the purple flowers, and now we have lots of daisies. Of course Rachel looks at a field thinks “How beautiful!” and I look at the same field and wonder “What type of camouflage would work the best here?”
